Abstract

This paper intends to highlight the influence of physical training on the technical training on competition apparatus in 9-year-old gymnasts. In this sense, a study was organized in „Dinamo” School Sports Club of Bucharest, from September 2017 to May 2018, with a group of 4 gymnasts aged 9. Six fitness tests (indicators) were used for evaluating the physical training, four tests for the technical training on competition apparatus and eight tests – the score obtained in two national competitions on each apparatus. The research results indicate the physical and technical training level on the competition apparatus.  The study also reveals the dynamics of learning and improving the technical elements according to the classification program and the performances achieved in two national competitions. The results of the correlative analysis highlight the connection between the physical and technical training indicators and the performances obtained in competitions.
