ASPECTS REGARDING THE CONTRIBUTION OF AEROBIC GYMNASTICS MEANS IN INFLUENCING THE STRENGTH INDICES IN TEENAGERS
Abstract
Aerobic gymnastics is one of the most effective and attractive ways of getting in a good physical shape that is so necessary for the everyday life (according to Kulcsar S, 2000, p 15). The aerobic gymnastics means, accessible to all ages, can be adapted for attaining the goals of the pre-university curricula, within the structure of the Physical Education lesson, without needing special material conditions.
Starting from this premise, this research verifies the influences of the selected motor content on the psycho-motor potential, in female high-school students.
The research was conducted as a pedagogical experiment on 41 female students, from the "Ferdinand" National College, Bacau. In order to verify the hypothesis, a battery of five tests was used, envisaging the strength parameters in the major muscle groups.
After the applicative intervention, one could see the beneficial effects these means had on the strength indices, their accessibility, and an increase in the participants' interest for the specific effort. Thus, we can say that the promotion of aerobic gymnastics in the Physical Education lesson can become a valuable alternative for the formation of aptitudes in female teenagers.
