Abstract

In this study we tried to capture the evolution of the body's adaptation processes, from a cardiovascular point of view, to the effort demanded by hiking, in the second year PE students, during the practical courses of Touristic Activities. For this, we chose a number of 5 students who were not professional athletes, whom we monitored for 3 days using pulse-testers, observing the cardiac reaction to effort, at certain time intervals, and the cool-down during breaks of approximately 2 minutes. After collecting the data, we did a statistical-mathematical analysis of it, a graphical representation and an interpretation, in order to see whether our hypothesis is confirmed or not.
