Abstract

Descriptive statistics of variables was presented and the differences between the two groups were analysed using the t-test. The results showed the difference in average heart rate after the principal part of the workout and in the percentage of maximal heart rate taking into account the age of the participants.

According to different levels of fitness, the results showed that the programmes of interval training in spinning and interval training in aerobics developed both in anaerobic conditions (improvement of blood flow, favourable for increasing speed endurance, the level of lactate tolerance and anaerobic threshold and increasing the muscle tonus).
