Abstract

This paper represents an observational study conducted in July 2012, on a group of 40 students of the Faculty of Movement, Sports, and Health Sciences, "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacău. The study aims to capture the appreciation manifested by the students regarding the study programs "Physical and Sportive Education" and "Sports and High Motor Performance" at the end of their studies, and right after passing their final year examination for the diploma. The assessment was based on an inquiry. The questionnaire contained 8 questions and was applied on 40 students. The collected answers show a positive appreciation, both regarding the instructive-educational process, the sports disciplines, and regarding the teachers. Through this study, we succeeded in spotting the negative and positive aspects of the study programs, thus being able to modify the curriculum. The answers given by the graduates emphasize the fact that students appreciate all the their teachers, appreciate the teacher-student relation throughout the semester and during the evaluation process, but also that most of them think the study program they have chosen is right for them. The conclusions show that the approach of the formative process is appreciated positively, also that some of the courses are not liked by students, and that they would prefer other courses that are not in the curriculum.
