STUDY REGARDING THE USE OF GAME STRUCTURES IN TEACHING HANDBALL TO EIGHTH GRADERS
Abstract
We believe that the study of the use of game structures during the 8th grade Physical Education lesson represents a current and very interesting theme, because the handball game structures make the PE lesson very attractive, the pupils getting totally involved in the development of the class. The research hypothesis: Presumably, the use of game structures in teaching handball to eighth graders makes the game easier to learn, thus improving the results for the control drills. We established the game structures for teaching handball to 8th graders, and we applied them during the Physical Education lesson, and we did the initial and final tests for three control drills in this pedagogical experiment. Afterwards, we compared the recorded data with the results from the control group, presented in figures and tables. Finally, we analyzed the results and wrote our conclusions and suggestions.
