THE IMPORTANCE OF USING THE - ANSWER -THROW – QUERY - METHOD IN THE ACQUISITION OF THE RULES OF THE BASKETBALL GAME BY THE 8TH GRADE STUDENTS

Abstract

The paper is based on an experimental study that involves assessing the theoretical knowledge of the game rules of basketball for the 8^th grade students by using the RAI method (Answer -Throw -Query).The purpose of the paper is to assess the theoretical knowledge of the rules of the basketball game through the use R.A.I. method for students in the 8^th grade. The data were pooled in recording sheets. Arithmetic mean values recorded in final testing for the two categories of correct answers or incorrect, stressed that students in the experimental group evolved in terms of knowledge, learning and enhance practical regulation basketball game using the interactive R.A.I. method.The results obtained in the two tests confirm that R.A.I method can be used in all stages of the assessment of students' knowledge about regulation and so the research hypothesis is verified.
