ACTION SYSTEMS FOR THE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE SPECIFIC HANDBALL PSYCHO-MOTOR SKILLS IN THE 8TH GRADE PHYSICAL EDUCATION LESSON
Abstract
One of the main objectives of this research was to assess the level of somatic development and physical training of the 8th grade pupils, in comparison with the national standards. The assessment consisted of practical drills applied at the beginning and at the end of the experiment. The measurement of the studied groups within the standard conditions shows the development of the main somatic and motor parameters in the 8th graders.
The results of the control trials prove that the specific means that have been used contribute in a substantial way to the proposed target, but with an increased number of lessons in a normal work regime. The fundamental, technical-tactical handball components were introduced in the 8th grade physical education lesson in the presence of the other general and operational objectives marked in the curriculum.
The use of means and methods which are specific to handball preparing games, in order to develop motor skills, lead to a positive evolution of these skills in all of the studied pupils, the results serving as evidence.
