Abstract

This article aims to highlight the role and place of the complex factors that influence the decision for career guidance for physical therapy and special motor skills students. Career guidance is an umbrella concept that summarizes the different types of services such as information, assessment, career counseling and education. The research subjects were 73 students from the Faculty of Sports and Health Movement from the "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacau, to which was applied a questionnaire in order to identify the elements that influenced their career decision. The results of this research reveal a series of expectations of the students related to the knowledge and information about what is the physiotherapist profession and which kind of special training is necessary to function in this profession.
