Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the sports gymnastics program on the motor skills of male students. The research hypothesis is that a 15-week gymnastics training program will have positive influence on the motor skills of male students. The research was conducted on a sample of 54 male students aged 20-22 years ± 6 months. A sample of specific motor tests for sports gymnastics: push-ups, pull-ups, sweeps, long jump, trunk lifting, leg lifting, lunge, squat. Despite the limitations of the study, it can be
concluded that the experimental program of sports gymnastics lasting is an effective method that leads to a statistically significant improvement in motor skills of male students.
