RATE APPRECIATION OF COLUMN DEFORMITIES IN A GROUP OF ADOLESCENTS FROM ”ANGHEL SALIGHY” TECHNICAL COLLEGE, BACAU
Abstract
Preventive medical examinations play an important role in maintaining health. Objective: to know the frequency with which column deformations occur in students. Material and methods: The study was conducted over a period of six years at Anghel Salighy Technical College, starting from the exam results sheet of the 12th grade and 3rd professional class students. Results and discussion: At 12th grade the column deformation rate varies between 8,02% and 12.57%. The third year professional values ranges from 7.75% to 15.68%. If we consider only students diagnosed with a condition, then the 12th grade frequency range between 15.29% and 22.5%, the differences calculated in ears being insignifiant (p>0,05, Gl=5,χ²=2,36). The third year professional values are between 20% and 47.22%, are also statistically (p>0,05, Gl=5,χ²=7,16). Per year doesn't appear an increasing level of the rate in column deformities. Conclusions: The obtained constant values oriented towards the need to identify risk factors.
