REMODELLING THE PSYCHOSOCIAL PROFILE OF THE CLASS BY IMPLEMENTING A SOCIAL LEARNING PROGRAMME IN THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION LESSON
Abstract
Besides the cohesion index, for which there are enough experimental data, the psychosocial profile of the class indicates the general orientation - positive or negative - of the features of the researched group. In our experimental study, unfolded at the level of lower secondary education, we introduced among the events of physical education lessons, as independent variable, a social learning programme with a content which consists of different categories of motor skills games, divided as units, over three semesters. As method of capturing the features of the experimental and control groups, we periodically implemented a questionnaire for assessing the psychosocial profile of the class. When concluding the research, we observed that, as the learning programme we implemented was unfolding in time, the psychosocial features of the experimental class evolved significantly, in relation to the control class. The group which was subjected to the independent variable is the one becoming better organized and structured.
