COMPARATIVE STUDY ON THE TACKLE OF THE OPPONENT’S BALL ON A TEAM FROM THE FIRST LEAGUE – F.C. VASLUI AND FROM THETHIRD LEAGUE– A.C.S. SPORTING SUCEAVA

Abstract

In order to highlight and compare the importance of  opponent’ dispossessions of ball in defense of football game at the level of both echelons, we organized a research carried out on the whole competition period (29.VIII.2012-6.VI.2013) in the teams F.C.Vaslui and A.C.S. Sporting Suceava, having as main research methods video analysis and observation. Following the obtained results of opponent’ dispossessions of ball both in the First League, but also in the case of the Third League’s team, the dispossession with sending the ball outside the playing field has the highest value (average). In the case of dispossession of the opponent’s ball with sending the ball outside the playing field there highlight lower values in the First League,  thing that presents a better defense without sending the ball outside the playing field. Regarding the opponent’s dispossession through fault, the highest values of these are in the Third League’s Championship, rather than in the First League, thing that  demonstrates a more aggressive game in the Third League in relation to the First League. Following the opponent’s dispossession  with passing the ball to teammates, the greatest frequency is in the First League, which shows a better game’s continuity in defence in order to start the counterattack and the quick attack.
